The ETIM standard classifies millions of electrical, HVAC and construction products across Europe. Manual classification takes 5-15 minutes per product. Our classifier does it in 3 seconds with 98% accuracy.
A typical HVAC distributor has 50,000-200,000 products. Classifying each one according to ETIM requires specialized technical knowledge and 5-15 minutes per product. Manually, classifying 100,000 products would take 2-3 years of full-time work. And by the time you finish, ETIM has released a new version.
Our ETIM Classifier uses Gemini 3 Pro for classification, Gemini 3 Flash for feature filling, and a proprietary confidence system that ignores AI-reported confidence and calculates its own score based on input data quality, feature coverage and ETIM catalog coherence. Result: 98% accuracy, 3 seconds per product, and always a result (never 'I don’t know').
A Zandergruppe distributor classified 150,000 products in 3 days instead of the estimated 18 months. Cost was reduced by 95%. Data quality improved (fewer human errors). And each new ETIM version can be re-classified in hours, not months. We’re currently exploring offering the service at trade association level for distributors across Europe.
